The inspiration for the Speedmaster FOIS is the watch that was worn by the astronaut Wally Shirra in 1962 as he orbited the earth during the “Sigma 7” mission. The FOIS is a numbered edition model, but not limited. The watch has a 39.7mm stainless steel case with straight lugs. It is powered by Omega’s caliber 1861 – a manual-wind movement.
