The GMT-Master II 126710BLRO was released at Baselworld 2018 and became an instant success. It became the first modern Rolex watch featuring a Jubilee bracelet which also works as a reference to Rolex’s past watches, as the original 6542 watches also offered the Jubilee bracelet as an alternative. The 126710BLRO is as the name suggests a GMT watch, which means that it is equipped with an additional hand to keep track of multiple timezones simultaneously. To do that, the watch also features a bidirectional 24-hour ceramic bezel. The background to its nickname is, of course, the fact that the bezel is red and blue.
