Description

Through Epoch®, we pay tribute to the classic design ideals with inspiration from more than 200-years of Swedish watchmaking history. We are also looking for innovative lines where Scandinavian elegance and craftsmanship can be combined with modern manufacturing methods.

Calendar and Date

Presented on the dial at 6 o’clock, the watch has a day and date window, executed with an original design where the date is positioned just above the day, and is part of the dial cut-out.

Bright orange dial

In a world of mostly black and silver dials, it is always fun when brands dare to go against the norm and create something that stands out from the ordinary. The Automatic Calendar is one of those watches. Equipped with a tangerine-colored dial with a matte metal finish, it reflects the light beautifully and changes personality depending on how the light hits it.

Details make the difference

The watch is presented with a stainless steel case with polished elements, contrasted by satin-brushed accents. The dial has applied polished metal Arabic numerals marking 3, 9, and 12. Enhancing its finish and impression of quality, it has polished beveled applied batons for the hour markers, and additional short rectangular markers next to them on which luminescent material is applied for legibility.

Epoch Stockholm was founded in 2002 by the engineer and entrepreneur Mikael Sandström, after leaving the watch company Sjöö Sandström he founded in 1986.

The Epoch brand has many merits under its name, most notably having the honor of many different royal houses. Epoch has also delivered a piece unique to Her Royal Highness Princess Victoria for her birthday at the request of the Swedish Royal Court.

What makes it special

The Automatic calendar is assembled in Epoch’s workshop by their very own watchmakers just outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Epoch is one of very few watch brands in Sweden that has its own workshop and watchmakers, and that assembles its watches in-house.

Elegant and comfortable clasp

Presented on an H-Link stainless steel bracelet with an elegant combination of polished middle-links contrasted by brushed elements. The bracelet has a hidden folding clasp with a push-button opening.
