The watch has a striking black sunburst dial and inside the case is Rolex’s most complicated movement, the caliber 9001.
The watch has a fixed inverted red triangle on the dial that points to the chosen reference time – the time at home or at the traveler’s usual workplace – on the off-centre 24-hour disc. The 24-hour display distinguishes daytime hours from night-time hours in the other time zone. The annual calendar displays the correct date throughout the year, and only one adjustment is needed – on 1 March since February has only 28 or 29 days. The date is connected to local time and automatically changes according to the traveler’s local time zone.
