Millenary Watches is proud to be one of a selected few official retailers of the innovative Swedish watch brand Halda. Halda was founded in 1887 by Henning Hammarlund, and his motto was that “if you want to become the best, you can never compromise, ever”. This vision led to great successes for Halda, which won a gold medal at the world exhibition in Chicago, competing with some of the world’s best watchmakers at the time.

In 2009, the Halda brand was resurrected by Mikael Sandström, following Hammarlund’s example of a profound enthusiasm for innovative engineering that never compromises with quality and function. In the 21st century, the Henning Hammarlund’s philosophy took the Halda brand to a new place, becoming established as a brand that set out to create new, modern watches, while still tributing traditional watchmaking that Halda’s founder lived and breathed.

The result was an innovative Halda concept which is based on a modular design that allows for effortless alternation between modules. Halda’s 21st-century concept has one mechanical model, tributing the traditional watchmaking and Halda’s past, and one digital, reflecting Halda’s take on the future.
