Top 11 Best Victorinox Watches [List & Guide]
Victorinox is a brand that is for many most known for its Swiss army knives and similar outdoor/survival accessories. Victorinox is based in Ibach, Switzerland. After 2005, when the company acquired its largest competitor, the brand became the sole supplier of multi-purpose knives to the Swiss Army. Today, Victorinox has established itself as the largest manufacturer of pocket knives in the world.
The Victorinox brand is strongly associated with an outdoor, rugged lifestyle, and the same goes for the brand’s watches.
Victorinox has a large collection of watches in addition to its knives and accessories, which all follow the same ethos and purpose that have been the guiding star for the brand for a long time. Victorinox’s watches are built to be functional, durable, tough, and reliable. With that said, you can expect slightly sportier and more durable watches from the brand’s collection rather than elegant dress watches.
Victorinox’s watches are extremely popular due to the functionality they offer. Whilst having a great emphasis on design, they are primarily built as rugged tools that are made to last and be worn in harsh environments such as for outdoor activities including hiking, camping, etc. In other words, Victorinox watches are not just built as watches, they are built as tools.
Another aspect is that Victorinox’s watches are Swiss-made. So if you trust the marking of ”Swiss made” and the quality that this marking has come to reflect, you cannot go wrong with a Victorinox timepiece.
In this article, we are looking closer at the best and most popular Victorinox watches on the market.

Victorinox Swiss Army I.N.O.X.
Starting off this list, we have what is perhaps the most popular watch from Victorinox. The Swiss Army I.N.O.X. is a tough, durable, and robust sports watch built with a rugged design that is, at the same time, very versatile and surprisingly suitable for many different occasions.
The watch is presented with a bulky stainless steel case with a diameter of 43mm and its design is in many ways inspired by dive watches. At the same time, it does not have a unidirectional bezel which is a standard element in dive watches. Instead, it is presented with a fixed stainless steel bezel which is very nicely executed with a hexagonal shape. For added sportiness, the watch is also presented on a stainless steel bracelet. On top of the case sits a triple-coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
It also offers a great water resistance of 200m/660 feet which makes it suitable for swimming and diving. So whilst it is technically not a dive watch, it does offer dive-watch performance in terms of water resistance.
The watch is powered by an analog Swiss Made quartz movement which is accurate, robust, and reliable.
The dial is matte black and has large applied metal hour markers and sword-shaped hands with luminescence applied to them which provides excellent legibility in any situation. Between 4 and 5 o’clock, it has a date window discreetly tucked in which can be quite practical, and as a contrast to its otherwise monochrome design, it has subtle red accents around the rehaut and for the seconds hand.
For further durability, the watch comes with a removable black bumper which can be used if you want to prevent scratches and make it even more durable.
All in all, if you’re looking for a tough and robust watch that can handle harsh conditions, but is also versatile enough for everyday wear, you really can’t go wrong with this Victorinox.

Net up, we have the Victorinox Swiss Army Maverick. This is a sporty dive-watch-inspired watch perfect for everyday wear.
The watch features a 43mm stainless steel case and has beautifully beveled edges. The crown is protected by large and pointy crown guards.
The reason we say dive-watch inspired is that it ”only” has a water resistance of 100m/330 feet when a dive watch needs a water resistance of at least 200m. As a true dive watch, it has a unidirectional rotating bezel. The bezel is blue and has a luminous pip at 12 o’clock for improved legibility. The blue color matches perfectly with the blue dial.
Speaking of the dial, it has a beautiful matte finish with applied metal hour markers with bevelings, and also 24-hour indicators. Positioned at 6 o’clock, it has a date window with a metal frame. The hands are broad and have a rectangular-ish design with luminescence applied to them. Thanks to the large size, they provide excellent legibility.
All in all, this is a really sleek and stylish watch that is suitable for everyday wear. The watch is more on the sportier side of watches, but this is appropriate for an everyday watch that will be worn on many different occasions. And in addition, it has plenty of beautiful details that show Victorinox has really paid attention to the details, enhancing its beauty.
Lastly, it is powered by an analog Swiss quartz movement.

The Maverick Chronograph is a different version of the Maveric we looked at earlier due to the fact that it is made in gold and steel, but also has a chronograph function.
It has the same 43mm stainless steel case with beautifully beveled edges. The watch features a yellow gold bezel with a green aluminum insert with a 60-minute graduation scale and is unidirectional. Like most Victorinox watches, it has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. To go with the green theme, it features a military green dial with a brushed finish and three chronograph sub-dials. The dial has beautiful yellow gold applied beveled markers and yellow gold hands with luminescence applied to them.
Around the edge of the rehaut, it has a tachymeter scale which is used together with the chronograph for measuring average speed. It is powered by a Swiss automatic movement.
Whilst this is a sporty and robust timepiece, the green combined with the yellow gold allows for a more elegant and luxurious look that is suitable for everyday wear.

Buyer’s guide Victorinox watches
Overall, the same criteria apply to buying a Victorinox watch as any other watch. The most important things you want to consider are:
What type of watch do I want? Victorinox focuses on making tough outdoor and performance watches but still has numerous different designs and styles. Think about the type of watch you want and how you will wear it. Do you want a large and bulky dive watch or do you prefer a sleeker pilot’s watch? Do you want something that you can wear every day or just for formal occasions?
Water resistance – Do you plan to go diving and swimming with your watch? Victorinox watches are rated to at least 100m, meaning you can go swimming with them, but even if they have good enough water resistance, some watches are not really suitable for being in contact with water – in particular, if they have a leather strap. If you plan on going diving, it is more appropriate to choose a dive watch.
What functions do you need? Different Victorinox watches come with different functions, so think about the most critical functions you need when making your choice. Do you only need it to keep the time or do you also want a date function? Do you want a chronograph, a rotating bezel, or something else? Ultimately, deciding the functions will help you narrow down your choices.
In cannot believe Victorinox no longer makes its most popular watch… the original red ringed field watch! How many millions of them were sold.
