Rolex Datejust 41 Dimensions & Lug-to-Lug Size Guide
In 2017, Rolex released a new generation of Datejust – the Datejust 41. This new Datejust came under a number of references, depending on the configuration (Where the two affecting factors are metal type and bezel type).
The Datejust 41 is a follow-up and success of the previous Datejust II. The latter mentioned was not hugely successful due to its proportions. The proportions of the Datejust II were not perfectly in line with, the classic look of the Datejust that we all know and love. And due to the larger size, Rolex hadn’t quite gotten the proportions of the case and dial just right.
By introducing the Datejust 41, Rolex made this watch more refined and gave it the traditional dimensions and proportions of the classic Datejust 36, but in a larger case.
The Datejust 41 is available in the references 126334, 126331, 126300, 126301, 126333, and 126303, again depending on their metal and bezel type. Regardless of the reference (version), all Datejust 41s have the same size and dimensions. Do note, however, that the Datejust 41 is available on either the Jubilee bracelet or the Oyster bracelet. Due to the more robust and sporty nature of the Oyster bracelet, the watch may be perceived as slightly larger and bulkier when it is fitted on it, as opposed to the Jubilee bracelet.
