In 2022 Rolex presented their all-new GMT Master II, which is a first-ever configuration, in many aspects of the GMT Family since its first release in 1953. The all-new GMT Master II reference 126720VTNR is flipped around 180 degrees, also known as a “Left-handed” watch, but also features a brand new bezel configuration that has never been seen before. Let’s take a closer look at the new Rolex GMT Master II 126720VTNR. 

The new GMT Master II reference 126720VTNR is the first time in the GMT family it features a ceramic bi-colored bezel in black and green. It also happens to be the first-ever Rolex GMT Master II which features a left-handed case. The first-ever bi-colored ceramic bezel GMT Master II in steel was the 116710BLNR, which featured a bezel in black and blue. At the time, it was the first-time Rolex presented the color configuration of the bezel on a GMT Master II. We could then in 2018 see finally see the GMT Master II reference 126710BLRO be presented, which featured the iconic “Pepsi” bezel in blue and red. Now in 2022, we are able to finally see and confirm that Rolex has mastered the process of manufacturing bi-colored ceramic bezels.

The GMT Master II reference 126710VTNR has the same proportions and bracelet options as the already existing GMT Master II in stainless steel, although we are not used to seeing this type of case, made for left-handed watch wearers. Here are the specifications of the new GMT Master II 126720VTNR.
